About Us

Dr. Julianne Wyman has been practing in the dental field for almost 30 years. She received a Bachelor of Science in biology from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland. Dr. Wyman earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland at Baltimore, where she received the distinguished honors of graduating magna cum laude and was inducted into the dental honorary society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.

Following her doctorate, Dr. Wyman completed a three-year residency at the University of Maryland and was awarded her Orthodontic Certification and a Master of Science in Oral Biology.

Dr. Wyman is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists®, the American Dental Association®, the Maryland State Society of Orthodontists, the Maryland State Dental Association and the Harford-Cecil Dental Society.

Recently, Dr. Wyman celebrated her twentieth year of orthodontic practice in Elkton, Maryland. As a resident of Cecil County, she and her family truly enjoy being a part of the community in which she practices. She and her husband, John, have four children: Morgan, William, Abby and Pierce. The newest addition to their family is German Shepard named Elsa.

Most of Dr. Wyman’s spare time is occupied by following her children to their sports and activities. She enjoys anything outdoors and the family has all been involved in scouting and spending many weekends year-round camping and hiking. Her favorite experience was a two-week backpacking trip in the Rocky Mountains with her two oldest children. In the summer, she’s on the Chesapeake Bay, sailing, boating, water-skiing or wakeboarding.

Chanelle joined our team in September 2015. She enjoys being part of a team where she can meet new people, help others every day and see our patients achieve their best smiles. Chanelle and her husband, Aaron, have two children, Hunter and Hailey, as well as a spunky four-legged baby named Gucci. When not in the office, Chanelle can be found spending time with her family and friends.

Heather joined our dental family in July 2018 and appreciates knowing our office helps people feel better about themselves and brings smiles to their faces. She is the first impression people have when they walk through the door, so she greets each person who comes into Wyman Orthodontics with a big smile, a warm welcome and a helpful attitude. Outside the office, Heather is a fan of the Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles, as well as anything her children are involved in. She and her husband have three children and two grandchildren, as well as three Siamese kittens!

Joy joined our team in 2009 and loves watching the children who visit Wyman Orthodontics grow up as they achieve beautiful smiles. Joy and her husband have one son and one daughter. Outside the office, she enjoys camping, crafting and playing soccer and lacrosse. Joy played lacrosse in high school and college, and later went on to coach kids soccer and lacrosse.

A history teacher by profession, John received his bachelor’s and masters from Washington College in Chestertown, MD, before teaching at Kent County High School for eight years.

Married to Dr. Julianne Wyman, he joined our office in January 2022 after raising their four children as a stay-at-home dad. He enjoys being a part of our practice and getting to know the patients and their families. Organizing contests, promotions and marketing campaigns gives him a creative outlet to make the office more interesting and fun! The patients, their families, our colleagues and the whole community benefit from his efforts.

John has too many hobbies to mention! He coaches both varsity tennis teams for The Tome School and started a fall sailing team as well. He is also a scout master for the boy scout troop #131 in North East, MD, and assists with the girl scout troop #143 in Elkton, MD. He shares his knowledge and passion for history doing preparing educational school presentations covering multiple time periods.

Alena is currently attending online school for orthodontics while working hands-on in the dental industry. She has also been a hairdresser for 10 years which she still has a passion for. She joined our team in September of 2023. She loves being a part of a friendly work atmosphere and being able to work well with her coworkers. Her job is helping patients achieve their best smiles for years and milestones to come. She is excited to see her continued growth in the orthodontic field. Alena is the mother of three amazing children and two dogs. She loves to paint and do anything crafty, including making dreamcatchers.

Devon has worked as an orthodontic tech since the 1990s and started at Wyman Orthodontics in January 2024. She likes being with people who care about our patients and their beautiful smiles. She provides great care to patients and a positive attitude on a daily basis. When not at the office, Devon loves to spend time with her family at the beach.

Kristin went to Foris College and Institute in Towson. She joined Wyman Orthodontics in September 2023. She helps patients achieve new smiles while having a sense of humor. She loves how she and her coworkers all get along and work well together! Kristin is married and has a 2-year-old little boy.

Hannah is a former Political Science and Human Rights major with a minor in environmental engineering at Mary Mount Manhattan College. She started working here in March of 2024 and is excited not only to be a part of Wyman Orthodontics, but to see her future in dental care. Hannah loves her coworkers; everyone is so kind and funny. She has the job of keeping things clean to help patient flow. She has a mom, dad and older brother who inspired her to be a hard worker. She loves music and even plays a few instruments.
